City-Wide, Open House

The City of Independence is hosting a Concept Public Meeting, in person and online, as we begin to explore potential options to enhance Winner Road from US 24 Hwy to the Englewood Arts District. The goals of this project include improving safety, improving options for pedestrians and bicyclists, and enhancing stormwater management.

Please join City Staff and their consultant, Kimley-Horn and Associates, to share your thoughts before the project begins design. An open house meeting, which allows you to come and go as your schedule permits, will be held at Van Horn High School on March 28, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
